Hello everyone!
I just recently joined this forum and want to learn a lot from you guys.
I'm no pro in the field of photography but I love to bring my digicam whenever I go out with my family and friends or in any occassions. But most of the time, my memory card is not enough to capture all those moments, so I miss the fun. Any suggestions of what digital album is perfect for a nonpro like me?
Hope to hear from you soon. :)

Welcome. I use a device called the "X's drive". It has a laptop hard drive in it and I just plug in my CF cards and copy them to the hard drive and then just plug it into my computer. It works great! There are several other similar products, some with more features(like viewing images on the hard drive), but they are more expensive. I think it's about $200. Otherwise you can buy more CF cards, or whatever format your camera uses, but buying an X's drive or something similar is the most cost effective solution. I hope this answers your question. If I read your post right, this is what I think you are looking for?

Hi Rick,
Thanks for the suggestions. I've checked about X's drive and its very fascinating with all the other features like using it as a jukebox player and with a capacity of about 80GB.
I'am just wondering why does a nixvue digital album so expensive when all it can do is store and display images from my digital camera and has up to 20GB memory.
Thanks again. :)

Hmm... I don't know, but it looks like it has more features(that I probably wouldn't use) like direct printing, view pictures on tv, etc.

I bought a basic x's drive and then I bought a 20 gig laptop hard drive for it and the total cost was about $200 and it's fine for me. The only feature I would like it to have is a color LCD so I could view the pictures I have on there, but it isn't worth the extra money to me.

Thanks Rick, I think I'll try to check more on the X's drive since that's all I need for now. Have a nice day! :)
