Black & White film

I have been delighted with the results I get from using color slide film (positive not negative film) and have a question.
Does black and white slide film exist? (dumb question right?) What kind is suggested?

Andy, yes there is a B&W slide film. If I remember correctly it is made by Agfa and called Scala. I have never used this film but I believe it requires processing by Agfa and is the only B&W slide film. I can't think of any reason to use it as the advantage to B&W (to me) is being able to compress or expand Zones which you would be unable to accomplish with slide processing. If you need slides for presentation I would either scan the B&W negative and have a slide made or use tungsten lights and tungsten color film (Kodak EPY64) to copy the print.
