Building a photographic history of the world

I've just built a site to create an archive of photographs that can be searched by date and location. The idea is to make a photographic history of the world. You can search on a day and see what people where doing on that day, or that hour. See how other people live and what their cultures are like. The site is only 2 days old and has less than a hundred pictures but i think it will grow and grow. What does everybody think of this and does anybody want to upload? http://www.weareacamera.com
